The fingerless Castelli Premio Gloves have backs made from the same stretch woven fabric found in the Premio Black Bib Shorts to offer a supportive fit, but their main job is to cushion your palms while maximising your grip on the handlebar. They do this by pairing a seamless, synthetic palm surfaced with tacky silicone grips with the Castelli Damping System. The job of the of the latter is to absorb chatter in place of your hand, especially around the median nerve, which can be harmed by sustained or rough riding. The gloves therefore work to prevent either superficial or tissue injuries. You’ll notice extra thick gel pads near the base of the thumb, the edge of the hand near the ulnar nerve, and at the base of the hand near the wrist. Smaller pads are found at the base of each finger, while punched perforations in the base of the palm and the three outer fingers will keep your hands dry. Features A quality, comfortable fingerless glove that protects your hands from vibrations. Palm is seamless and has silicone grips to help you grasp your handlebar.
