This adapter can be used to quickly and easily clone the EDID data from a HDMI display so that the graphics card has direct access to the correct data from the display, the cloning process takes less than 10 seconds. The Lindy 4K30 HDMI & USB over IP system is a powerful solution for creating a wide range of bespoke, distributed AV and KVM installations. The system comprises Encoder (No. 38396) and Decoder (No. 38397) modules and a separate Controller module (No. 38395). Please note: all modules are sold separately so you can build and scale according to your requirements. One HDMI source, such as a PC or Media Player, connects to a single Encoder module; one HDMI display connects to a single Decoder module (No. 38397). Multiple Encoders and Decoders can be combined for a variety of multicast distribution options. The controller module is used to manage the full installation and direct the multiple sources to the multiple displays giving maximum creative freedom and customisation options. All the modules can be connected to a 1G managed switch to create a network of connected devices.
