Portek introduces the Rufcut, a 2 wheeled brushcutter driven by a powerful 52cc two stroke engine. As the Rufcut brush cutter is used with the two wheel frame it is easy to handle and offers greater flexibility for the user. The handle is adjustable for comfort and also so the brushcutter can be used on slopes without the user having to bend at an angle. The double grip handles offer great control and are fitted with a cut out switch for safety. The Flexi-Cut system allows the shaft of the brush cutter to be swivelled / adjusted so you can cut around obstacles and right up to edges. To make life even easier the Portek Rufcut is fitted with solid, puncture proof tyres so you won’t get slowed down while out in the field. The Rufcut is compatible with all the Portek PowerStrim cutting heads but comes fitted with the Powerstrim 6 mulching head. The Powerstrim 6 head uses any gauge nylon line, has a 3 tier line cutting design and is built to tackle heavy jobs with ease. Hard wearing and long lasting Portek mulching head. The Portek PowerStrim6 head can be fitted to any straight shaft brush cutter or strimmer (36cc and above) which is designed to take a metal blade and has an anti-clockwise rotation. This head is fitted as standard to the Portek Rufcut wheeled trimmers. The unique Portek 3 tier line design cuts, mulches and scatters to leave a clean finish. The head can be used with any gauge nylon line. Multiple lines mean that they wear down much slower than standard single line heads and it will tackle tough, heavy jobs with ease. The PowerStrim 4 comes with 3 different sized spacers (8, 10 or 12.5mm) and a 20mm adaptor for certain machines. The head uses 30cm lengths of cutting line and these can be changed simply and fast with an allen key. Can be filled with any brand line but recommended for use with the Portek 3mm square or Portek 4.4mm star line.
