It's important to remember that pergolas are not watertight buildings and in the event of torrential rain, the water may not flow through the guttering system quick enough and therefore cause leakage, much like an overwhelmed gutter on a house. This well engineered contemporary pergola requires 2-3 people to assemble and should be completed in approximately 2-3 hours. We recommend mounting the Pergola onto a solid and flat surface.
