Expertly crafted using both contemporary and traditional methods, each one is bound by hand and sturdy enough to keep all your most treasured memories safe. The sari material comes from Varanasi, one of the most religious cities in the world and a centre of excellence for sari making. The pages are created from khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi). This material is crafted by hand from reclaimed cotton, salvaged from the huge waste of the Indian garment industry. Only unbleached cotton is used, ensuring the paper is acid-free. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it feels beautiful to write, draw, or paint on. While its perfect for ball-point pens, gel pens, or watercolours, we wouldnt recommend it for use with fountain pens. Photos can be placed inside the photo album with glue, spray mount, or add a pack of our clear, self-adhesive photo corners to your order so that youre ready to go as soon as it arrives.
